Notes:

• Abutilon hybridum - Chinese Lantern aka Flowering Maple, et al.
• It's flowering now (2011-11-14) in the Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) Spring.
• It's a tree.
• The flowers are not aromatic.
• This should have been staked. One part of the trunk has grown vertically, and the other part horizontally.
• There tend to be several hose-like trunks emanating from the same base.
• The trunks are fawn-colored with a green tinge.
• One trunk of a separate plant has grown straight up thru a fig tree.
  From base to tip-top it is 577 cm = 227 inches = 18 feet 11 inches.
